Querida familia de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes,
El Ministerio de Jóvenes y Jóvenes Adultos en Nuestra Señora de Lourdes está prosperando y va muy bien. Tiene aproximadamente 90 miembros y está organizado en 4 grupos por edades, de la siguiente manera:
- LITTLE SPARKS, para los de la Escuela Primaria
- SHIELD, para los de la escuela intermedia
- SPIRIT LIFE, para los de Secundaria
- y The 72, para nuestros jóvenes adultos.
Spirit Life, el grupo de Secundaria es nuestro grupo juvenil más antiguo. Como pudimos ver el fin de semana pasado, es un gran grupo juvenil muy activo y, entre sus otras actividades, planifica y dirige el retiro anual de Día del Espíritu para la Confirmación de la Oficina de Educación Religiosa de la parroquia.
Se reúnen una vez a la semana y están dirigidos por un líder de grupo y un equipo central que también se encuentra una vez a la semana para planificar sus actividades. El equipo de liderazgo se encuentra mayuna vez al mes con Daniel Elie, nuestro Coordinador del Ministerio, que es responsable de la dirección general y la actividad del ministerio.
Maribel Castillo ha sido la Líder de Grupo de Spirit Life por muchos años fructíferos y pronto se "jubilará" de su posición. Quiero felicitarla y agradecerle por la bendición que ha sido para nosotros, especialmente para nuestros jóvenes. María Rosero, su asistente, también se retira para terminar su maestría. Con la jubilación de Maribel y la salida de María, estamos buscando un voluntario para asumir el papel de Líder de Grupo de Vida Espiritual.
