The Otero Family have been parishioners at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (OLOL) for over 30 years. Alejandro and Carla were married at OLOL in 2005 and their children, Ayden and Emma, have received the sacraments of baptism, first communion and confirmation here. Emma attended OLOL school for three years.

Alejandro serves as a Master of Ceremony and a Lector and is currently a member of the Parish Finance Council.

In this summer, characterized by heat waves and heavy rains, our city is known for. We have our heroes for life who, despite the harsh weather, are there outside on the sidewalks of abortion centers to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus.

 Standing out from this weather, they do not hesitate to continue their commitment to be bearers of hope and love for mothers and fathers in crisis who go to abortion clinics. I want to recognize all of them for their heroic deeds, love, and passion for saving lives. May every sacrifice be for the greater glory of God and for the salvation of so many innocent babies who lose their lives to abortion.

HERE is one of the many stories of babies saved from Miami's busiest abortion center. Here is the message from our sidewalk advocate and the text message from the mother who received help and is grateful to have encountered our volunteers that day.
