Church Cleanup

Saturday, August 12th from 9:00 am

There are jobs for people of all abilities, for example: cleaning windows, removing wax from the pews, polishing furniture, washing and drying the candle stands and cups, polishing the silver vessels, and cleaning the baseboards and chair rails.

Inspired by Pope Francis’ apostolic letter Patris Corde writing about St. Joseph the worker:

Work is a means of participating in the work of salvation, an opportunity to hasten the coming of the Kingdom, to develop our talents and abilities, and to put them at the service of society and fraternal communion. Working persons, whatever their job may be, are cooperating with God himself, and in some way become creators of the world around us.”
